Our Fees and Sessions
Pre-School Fees and Sessions
Sessions
We are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm. Children can attend either morning (9am-12pm) or afternoon sessions (12pm-3pm), or full days.
We are excited to be introducing ‘pre-school only’ sessions
for two afternoons per week, where the children attending will be aged 3 or
over. This decision has come about in
response to feedback from parents and staff regarding how best to cater for the
older children. While we are pleased to
be able to offer places to children aged 2-4years in a play based environment,
as you may imagine, the atmosphere is quite different when we have a broad age
range present. These sessions will
enable us to provide a more structured time for the older children who attend,
and greater opportunities for them to work towards building specific skills in
preparation for school. From September 2017,
the afternoon ‘pre-school only’ sessions will be Mondays and Thursdays. Two year olds will be welcome to attend all
morning sessions, and the other three afternoon sessions. These sessions will be on a trial basis for
the first term, and we will keep you informed of any changes.
Sessions are currently
charged at £13.00 for each 3 hour session. We do offer a discount of 20% off
your session fees if you have twins, this will be automatically deducted from
your bill.
Fees are paid half termly in
advance. BACS is our preferred payment method. You will receive an invoice
detailing the amount and due date. If
your child is ill or on holiday you will still be charged as you pay your bill
in advance of the children attending Pre-school. If your child attends any extra sessions, these will be added to the following bill.
We have a structured policy
for the payment of fees:
- Bills
will be issued during the first week of each half-term
- Payment
to be received by Pre-school by the end of the second week back after half-term.
Payment can be made either by BACS or in childcare vouchers.
- If
payment is not received, a reminder will be sent on the
Monday after. Payment will then be
expected by that Friday. A date will be
specified in the reminder.
- Failure
to pay by that date stated may result in exclusion of your child/children with
immediate effect.
- If
payment is still not received within 2 weeks, then your child/children’s
place(s) may be removed from the register and offered to other children on the
waiting list.
- If
your child is excluded and payment has still not been received, we will take
steps to reclaim the amount owed through Small Claims Courts.
- We
have the right to refuse access to free entitlement to children where families
owe money for services provided outside free entitlement.
If you are experiencing any
difficulties with regards to fees then please feel free to speak to us and we
can make alternative arrangements to help you if necessary. There is Government Funding available for
those in financial difficulties.
We review our fees annually
in January. Parents are informed of any
changes in writing and any changes will take effect in April.
Vouchers
We accept vouchers from various company schemes - please contact our Fees Administrator Rachael Siggers with regards to this.
